Industrial Scaffolding in Sittingbourne
In April 2024, we erected scaffolding for a industrial building to have solar PV panels installed onto their flat roof in Sittingbourne.
The Process
With the solar panel company’s design, we knew exactly where to set up the scaffolding to keep every part of the roof safe for the installers.
Side rails were added to the sides of the building, and scaffolding was placed around each skylight, since those areas are more fragile.
Our scaffolders also installed a 3-storey scaffolding structure at the front of the building to enable the installers to have a safe entry and exit area.
The yellow gate has been installed to enable the installers to find the entry to the structure quickly, and the gate is also a safety feature for when the installers are on the scaffolding.
Our scaffolders erected this project in half a day, providing a safe and secure platform for the solar panel company to work on for their installation.
